Since I have been graciously awarded the above by Mapiprincesa , felt it would be in the propriety of things to carry it forward. Hedonism as a philosophy is highly contagious.
Although Mapiprincesa grandly made her choice from among the blogosphere globally(wow) I am nominating five bloggers from our desi sphere ..’Kyunki dil hai hindustani’. I think the under mentioned ‘roaaaaaarrrr’ well enough to be heard and applauded. They are encouraged to add the above image on to their website, nominate their ‘five’ and keep the roarrrr alive in the blogging safari. In alphabetical order:
Falstaff never fails to evince a chuckle, simultaneously masking sometimes the depth within the post. No mean task, superbly accomplished.
Jai Arjun Singh’s clear, lucid, unpretentious, incisive reviews, embody a fluidity of thought coupled with innate honesty. Quite a treat. Baradwaj Rangan ‘the haloed one’ cannot be considered in the race anymore.
Nitin Pai‘s deliberations may not necessarily be those I am regularly in consonance with, yet his posts are compelling, passionate and bring forth the sincerity of his intention.
Temporal exudes the kind of warmth in his Urdu Shairi which bespeaks of a compassionate heart, finely tuned, resonating with the angst of his environs. Rarely is there a master of both English and Urdu who humors negativity with such passion.
Uma Ranganathan cares..and that shows in her writings. Her core is sensitive and her expression although seemingly casual is teeming with humaneness.
And so many more..but since the requirement is for five.. well..this was just so that the also- ran dont kill me 🙂 C’mon now be a sport! There is always a tomorrow. Dont ya believe the ‘Kal Ho na ho” anthem…never.
Come to think of it..This was fun .. should do it more often. We bloggers need all the encouragement we can possibly garner.. I shall most willingly and humbly, comply.
