Today, 27th January, marks a year since I began writing this blog. Whilst writing my first post, I felt a tad silly, since I had no clue who would, or rather would anyone end up reading my blog.
This brings to mind the romanticism of Majrooh Sultanpuri
“Main akela hi chala tha janibe-e-manzil magar
Log sath aate gaye aur karavan banta gaya“
‘I embarked all alone towards the goal(but) people kept joining in to turn into a caravan’
I sometimes think back on the journey and I feel a sense of awe. All I did was write with a fire within that begged to be expunged and a sincerity towards issues which deserved to be brought to the fore.
It connected with like minded. If anything the experience on blogging has validated the phenomenon of thoughts constituting a potency to travel beyond man made boundaries, and linking with others on a similar wave length. Its as if you write a piece, and sooner than later, souls drift in connected with the idea sent out. .to agree or disagree.
The rewards have been fascinating , the brickbats equally so. For how does one value the savoury sweet if the unsavoury bitter had not made its presence felt ? Human nature is one which tends to magnify, focus and demarcate the negatives spontaneously. Positives are either taken for granted or ignored. But in keeping with my New Year post, all experiences are to be considered challenges and exploited for potential of growth… the idea is to be a fast learner before nature decides to keep teaching you till you don’t, much to your chagrin.
However, to be fair, I feel today that the good far out weighs any other ..not so good. both in responses and effects. I am a strong believer in the energy of the written word or for that matter , the energy behind a driven thought . It rarely fails to find its mark. Being a drop in the ocean, or an infinitesimal speck in the Universe never deterred the purpose of the blog in question. You see, I had two options.. see, feel and simmer.OR see, feel and write. It needs no elucidation as to what I finally chose.
One cannot be pompous enough to proclaim that ones words may eventually bring around a drastic reversal of sordid conditions, or that compassion, piety and kindness will rule the world. One can merely attempt to germinate a thought process, nurture positivity, condemn demoniacal tendencies ( although the nagging doubt of its prevalence being a well planned strategy by the Maker continues to persist) and wish for the ideation to find the fertile ground to grow into a momentous presence…Dreams or affirmations? Anyone?
There are more readers on Sachiniti than I can imagine. I recently met a gentleman who was quite aware of the blog and its contents. I met him at a party replete with the well heeled..It felt good. He stated that his purpose was not to comment. It seemed strange at first but then I concluded there are plenty of posts I read and dont comment on either… But rather that they gave me a strain of thought I’d delve on , mull over, and store away somewhere in the chip.
Those I have got to know here have been remarkable human beings. I am so much richer having gotten to interact with them. I value each one ..as a personal treasure.

dunno whether a difference was made per se.. to the teemin millionz arnd but just wanna say- the pleasure was thr for the taking n its been a great exp- the word play- with a difference!!

Its been an experience which has got me so involved…i am so astonished at myself. maybe its becoz i can relate to your articles a lot. why should i disagree if i actually dont? just for the heck of it or make some duds haappy? You have a point of view and an opinion which yu defend well..I like that. n i wish you many more anniversaries……Luv

Dear North..thanks. Your words were as usual kind and warm and so encouraging. I must mention here that what I have learnt from those like you and others here is beyond words. I have tried to keep an open mind and a longing for ideas alive..and what I have received, fills me with joy and fulfillment.
