did ya watch babel?? blood diamond?? really the nominationz are like too hot to handle but again… sumwhere a judgement has to be stamped!!
really… the cycles of time n the pages of history are all that we have to boast of – the past!! from literature to fine arts, to movies to sports… the past tense prevails.. the smell of a distant whiff of perfume!!

Hi Sapt,
You manage to bring poetry into even Nominations..:)
You know what I really feel like doing? Closeting myself with all the nominated films , with just a room service to look after gastronomical needs and emerging with a complete list of my faves…sigh.. How? when? the compulsions of living deny you even your basic rights of watching films by the dozen!! How terribly unfair. Na?

poetry is ‘taal’ that binds the happy sad stories of life… n movies kinda reflect ’em!
but sumtimes, sum movies reach out into distant radii of this globe n uphold the vagaries of life- sum strong emotionz which aint rubbed off easy..
indian cinema shud have looked beyond the mushy locales or sordid stories of have-not’s n injustice.. they can pan the cameras’ capturing life per se n not sensationz!
movies like food for thought.. alas! the burden rests with the hills of hollywood n hence they tower above us..
water faced so much garbage- in so many colors- RELIGIOUS! POLITICAL! n now its up thr glorified, wearing the canadian colorz :)) guess life aint for stopping, it meanders around the obstacle!!
n find time, chalk out sum timeT, buy sum chips or kurkure (or coffee wud do!), sink in2 the comfortz of the multiplex n watch those movies… don say u busy 🙂 u shud always find time to know abt this beautiful thing called life- ya, with puzzles n problems n garbage to handle… its always worth it!!

Dear Kaveetaa; it will be a weekend of deep contemplation; what to keep, what to sacrifice further…
but, life is all about sacrifice, and often compromising, just to keep a healthy balance f things..
I feel terribly torn about what to do… does one hunger, for entertainment, connection to this world of inter-connecting?
And, then I berate myself for my self-pity in this; when I realize the fact that so many at your end of the world, starve to death. Their suffering does not give me comfort; it gives me the rude awakening; that my loss’s are so small, in comparison… and so should I be feeling so deprived at all?
deep, deep thoughts.. I hope they do not keep me awake all night…(gentle smiles.)
with loving kindness,
North

Alas Alas Sapt..the sands of time keep slipping by, ne’er to return. I wonder sometimes, is the journey and action of each moment pre-decided, or do we struggle to imbue it with the color we’d like to paint it with..
N films in India.. till the audience does not reject trash and accept a sincere effoert, the majority will be garbage, with only a handful daring to exlore the realm of the artistic. I truly wish I could make a film some day..Inshallah 🙂
N Sapt you must update the Singur post.. there are quite a few readers wanting to now more.

Dear North,
Live each moment, complete and in faith with Peace. Questions for which you do not have answers, simply surrender to the Consciousness of the Universe. Act in knowledge of your own invincibility, even if it is the last thing you feel now, and Pray.. I do that for you whenever I think of you..May the Almighty shower you with His Blessings.
