October this year has been a time of festivity..what with Dassera, Karva Chauth and now Diwali all coming up in quick succession… Not complaining..plain overworked. Shopping, tailoring, coupled with the fetish for a squeaky clean home to herald ‘Dhanteras’ can lead to taut nerves and a short fuse..Am extremely unpopular with domestic helpers, these days. That I appear with two horns, a tail and red eyes even in their dreams is a possibility.Oh well!!…shall win them over with gifts.
Kavita Chhibbers e mag has some interesting articles this month..mine included. Ahh now, modesty is a virtue for the faint hearted. Sounding hopelessly out of character? I hear yoo..The time of the year m’dear..(sigh) will get better in a week or so..promise.
Meanwhile..read on

Have a wonderful celebration Kaveetaa.. and the domestic helpers will appreciate your gifts of thoughfullness; as I’m sure you would gift them, even if you didn’t wear two horns and bare red eyes this month!(gentle smiles)
with loving kindness,
North

Just read your article on Kavita Chhibbers Emag. Great article Kaveetaa.. you write on the subject, with a keen precision.

Thanks north. It was a passionate construct on a disturbing malaise.
You are right there. Gifts on this occasion are a must. There is nothing more gratifying than seeing a wide grin emerge on a grumpy face.
